Bah
Diary-ish Posted on 31 May, 2010 10:26:24Blog me here and blog me there. I’m not much of a blogger, really. At least not when I’m this dark mood. I wish they would let me out soon. But then what?

O’Friday O’Friday
Diary-ish Posted on 21 May, 2010 11:47:15Oh what a beautiful morning? Oh IDK, really. (IDK=I don’t know)
IDK & IDC (IDC=I don’t care)
ANyways (Intentional Capital N) I’m listening to various Norwegian popular music on my computer and The Good Ol’ Ramones on my Zen.
Good vibrations.

Diary-ish Posted on 20 May, 2010 11:45:25Don’t you cry for me; I will go to California and dig out gold to thee 😛
I may not look like I’m in the mood for gold-digging, but I was born an adventurer and it’s not likely to change any time soon.

70 years since the War
Diary-ish Posted on 10 Apr, 2010 10:28:07WWII started the 9th of April 1940, for us Norwegians at least. Today is the 10th, so another anniversary has passed. I remember the 60th anniversary quite clearly. The King visited that time, I think.
And the world is still standing. It’s a good thing.
Don’t you agree? 😉

Thursday!
Diary-ish Posted on 14 Jan, 2010 21:05:28It’s the best Thursday I’ve had in my life! Honestly. I got gift cards in the mail today for being a good boy. So I spent 50% of them on comic books, feinschmecker food stuff, snacks (for me and for my dog) and of course a sixpack.
And I ran into a ladyfriend of mine while going there. I wanted to call her or something for a long time, but she’s working shifts and I don’t wanna be a pest.
The other 50% will be spent on … hmm. I’ll have to think about it. A Superdry T-shirt! And … a gift for a good friend of mine … Again, I’ll have to think about it. The biggest gift of all is to give.

Another week is close to it’s end
Diary-ish Posted on 06 Nov, 2009 19:51:09And I’m happy about it. We’re short on staff at work, and I have my hands full at all times. If I was paid according to effort and reliability I would be a rich man. Oh well. In my dreams.
Anyways. It’s almost weekend. Have to work for five hours tomorrow before I can kick back and relax.
I feel good about myself no matter what.

Which day is it again?
Diary-ish Posted on 24 Oct, 2009 22:13:07I think it’s saturday. Feels like saturday. I’m quite sure it’s saturday. I’ve had a bottle of Californian red wine and I love it. Listening to the radio and my birds. Watched an episode of The Wire. Good stuff. Today is a good day. I’m an optimist, but that’s temporary. Who knows what the night will bring.

Stressed out
Diary-ish Posted on 21 Oct, 2009 20:51:09But I guess I’ll survive somehow.
Oh well, what did I really have in mind … I forgot. Damnit. Oh yeah. Nope. Gone again. Which says a lot about my state of mind this fine wednesday evening. Or so. I think I should demand some benzos from my doctor or those nurses. Even if it’s on the drug list.

Diary-ish Posted on 15 Oct, 2009 20:07:46And almost weekend. I bought a bottle of wine to celebrate. Californian wine. I had to try something else than the french ones after watching “Bottle Shock”. Funny movie.

Monday again
Diary-ish Posted on 24 Aug, 2009 10:13:31I had to work saturday, so the weekend was a short one. But I had fun. Visited some new friends. They have Staffordshire bull terriers. I love those dogs. Maybe I’ll get my own soon. There’s no rush.

News from the western front
Diary-ish Posted on 17 Aug, 2009 20:10:11Another day in the killzone survived. Took a few casualties, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Mondays are the worst.

Saturday night
Diary-ish Posted on 15 Aug, 2009 21:13:19Sipping red wine. Oh well, not really sipping. More like drinking. I wouldn’t go as far as call it chugging. That comes later. It’s just 9 pm.
I’m watching The Wire, first season. It’s supposed to be awesome. I find it interesting so far. It’s not the kind of stuff that hits you in the face with it’s awesomeness, but there’s some quality about it. And I particularly love that they didn’t cast any well known actors. Makes it feel more real.
Other than that, my birds have made a mess out of my livingroom -again-. I wish they could just shit in their cage. But I suppose there’s no way of teaching birds where to shit.
I gave my plant some fertilizer, I hope it doesn’t die on me. At the shop they told me it couldn’t be killed. And I’ve watered it a lot. It really “ties the room together”. Wow, now I wanna watch that movie again. The dude and stuff. What was the name of that movie again? Oh yeah, The Big Lebowski. Funny as hell.
My favorite quote from that movie: “Fuck it Dude, let’s go bowling”

Diary-ish Posted on 13 Aug, 2009 18:28:53I tried coconut milk in a soup thingie today. It was white and gooey, not blank like I had expected.
I couldn’t taste the difference. Probably because I was too hungry to wait for it to cool off, and now I’m all burnt on my tongue and shit. Will probably taste better in the morning.

Sunday
Diary-ish Posted on 09 Aug, 2009 16:56:05The best part about a party is eating junkfood the day after. It always hits the spot. Waiting to get sober enough to drive is the worst part.
I watched Mamma Mia. The first musical I’ve ever seen. And it was awesome!

Party?
Diary-ish Posted on 08 Aug, 2009 21:50:03 Spotify adds another dimension to the party life. I’m not sure if I like it or not.
I’m sitting here yawning and I’m not the only one.
Ok. Some more people arrived and the party wasn’t a total disaster. Went out, had one drink, no aircondition, went back to prepare the potential nachspiel. I don’t have high hopes for that. Probably I’ll fall asleep on the couch and wake up tomorrow not remembering much.
There were some cute girls at the club, but I’m not the type to even think about trying to talk to them. My sorry ass belongs at home, sadly I can’t drive right now. If I knew there would be no police tonight, I would go home instantly. I’m not too drunk to stay on the road. Still, I value my driving licence a lot.

What’s cooking?
Diary-ish Posted on 06 Aug, 2009 17:29:28Dinner today:
Pork hamburgers
Bacon/cheese
Fried red onion rings with virgin olive oil and white wine
I had some bread that looks like hamburger bread, but it’s healthier
And of course regular dressing and garlic sauce
I should’ve bought some green stuff to go with that.
I’m stuffed.
But I won’t buy pork hamburgers again.

Lorem ipsum?
Diary-ish Posted on 06 Aug, 2009 09:13:57Ever seen this text?
The standard Lorem Ipsum passage, used since the 1500s
1914 translation by H. Rackham
“On the other hand, we denounce with righteous indignation and dislike men who are so beguiled and demoralized by the charms of pleasure of the moment, so blinded by desire, that they cannot foresee the pain and trouble that are bound to ensue; and equal blame belongs to those who fail in their duty through weakness of will, which is the same as saying through shrinking from toil and pain. These cases are perfectly simple and easy to distinguish. In a free hour, when our power of choice is untrammelled and when nothing prevents our being able to do what we like best, every pleasure is to be welcomed and every pain avoided. But in certain circumstances and owing to the claims of duty or the obligations of business it will frequently occur that pleasures have to be repudiated and annoyances accepted. The wise man therefore always holds in these matters to this principle of selection: he rejects pleasures to secure other greater pleasures, or else he endures pains to avoid worse pains.”

About birds
Diary-ish Posted on 05 Aug, 2009 19:44:51 Pet birds.
First I bought a female. She was a pretty little thing, and would sit on my finger if I moved gently around her.
Then I got a male so she wouldn’t be lonely. Now they flee the moment I make a move.
I’m nice to them. I feed them, refill their water every day, clean their cage at least once a week.
What do I get in return? I get to clean up their feathers and droppings every day.
But it’s cool to watch them interact. I’m trying to figure out whether they fight or flirt, but I guess it’s a bit of both.
